Policy Educator | Harm Reductionist | Community Strategist
Welcome! You’ve reached my (provisional) landing page. Explore below for a bit more about me, my work, and my projects. :)
I am a policy educator, harm reductionist, and community strategist based mostly between Berlin and Vienna, although I originally come from the United States. I focus my time primarily on various social projects in drug policy, community health, and nightlife, where I have collaborated with myriad organizations—including NGOs, advocacy networks, and research institutions—to drive positive social change.
Typically, my work is a blend of research, communications, writing, and team coordination, often at the intersection of public health and community initiatives. My role as a freelance strategist, officially titled ‘Beratender Stratege für Gesellschaftliche Entwicklung’ (Consulting Strategist for Societal Development), allows me to support and guide diverse social projects.
A defining aspect of my approach is design-based thinking. This principle shapes everything I do, as I believe the containers we craft have a massive influence on our behaviors, and hence, our well-being. More of an approach than a standalone discipline, I reflect it in my desire to create well-structured policy programs and community interventions to designing physical spaces like venues and work environments. I hold a MPA degree (masters in public administration) from the Central European University, and a BA in philosophy/psychology from NYU Abu Dhabi; this academic background both reflects and influences my design-based approach.
In practice, I often operate as a kind of “conductor,” ensuring that teams and projects harmonize effectively toward their goals. Ultimately, my work is about creating strategic, people-centered solutions that resonate on a societal level.
